Mission Statement

University Information Technology Services (University ITS) is a support organization dedicated to providing state-of-the-art information technology and communications to students, faculty, researchers, and staff for instruction, general research, administration, and public service in support of the University's plan for excellence.

University ITS provides a myriad of computing and communication services to the University and some other educational entities. Within these responsibilities are:

* Coordinating and managing communication systems.
* Supporting administrative production and development projects.
* Identifying and addressing emerging issues and technologies.
* Facilitating the innovative use of technology in instruction and research.
* Providing advanced information services and systems.
* Fostering technology discussions at a university level.

The continuing goals of University ITS are to meet the changing and expanding computing and communications needs of the University and to provide outstanding service to all University constituents, in support of the University IT Strategic Plan.
